The Way He Looks (Hoje eu quero voltar sozinho) – upcoming
This film looks so different than others it caught my eye. It appears to be a coming of age film where friendship might turn into something more, but with the added development of being blind and dealing with the surrounding issues.
Synopsis: Leonardo is a blind teenager searching for independence. His everyday life, the relationship with his best friend, Giovana, and the way he sees the world change completely with the arrival of Gabriel.
This movie was a pick at the Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. It reminds me of a “Summer Storm” type of film, but different. Looking forward to seeing it perhaps later this year.
